Metacognition & Happiness in the AI Age
Through extensive studies, Yogesh has highlighted how average screen-time; over six hours daily, sliced into 2–3 second bursts; makes the brain brittle, random, anxious, ambiguous, incomprehensible, and non-linear. This relentless neural switching fractures attention and erodes happiness. To counter this, he created YourOneLife (YOL), a neuroscience-inspired program that curates and calibrates the brain by harmonizing rational (left-brain) and emotional (right-brain) cognition. By reinforcing *metacognition; the ability to think about our thinking; *YOL safeguards mental clarity and well-being at a time when AI risks compromising human faculties.
Applied AI Labs & Strategic Policy Impact
Yogesh also drives scalable innovation through Applied AI Labs, that he curated at Stanford University and is now establishing in Gurugram, India. where students build deployable AI products in six weeks. As Professor of Practice at SGSIP University, he is embedding large language models across curricula in 120+ colleges. His policy work shaped India’s IT Skills Framework and CSR blueprint, both adopted nationally. He has and continues to serve on several national and global committees on AI.
Recognition & Global Advocacy
Honored as Global Ambassador of Metacognition at the UK Parliament (2022), Yogesh serves as President (AI) at the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and as a board member with luminaries like Philip Kotler at the World Happiness Foundation. He has earned national and global recognition. His awards include the UN-ITU Award (2011) and National Telecom & CSR Awards.
Author and Futurist
He has authored works with tectonic influence on Ai entitled: 1. The Road Ahead 2.0, (2 volumes) and 2. AImagineering. These two have been lauded by national and global luminaries such as the UN head of climate Change and 3. AI Shakti-A framework for AI adoption globally that has been lauded by the Secretary MeitY and CEO-Niti Aayog.
