Darren Vukasinovic is a technologist, filmmaker, and media innovator exploring the intersection of generative AI, storytelling, and human participation. As Founder and CEO of Ex Animo, he is developing AI-driven “story systems” that transform audiences from passive viewers into active co-creators of narrative worlds.
Over the past two decades, Darren has worked across film, immersive media, and frontier technologies. He founded Ignition Immersive, one of Australia’s leading VR/AR studios, producing more than sixty projects across healthcare, training, arts, and entertainment, including world-first work in 8K VR live streaming and volumetric media.
Now based in London as a Global Talent Visa recipient, Darren speaks internationally about how emerging technologies reshape culture, creativity, and human connection—exploring how AI, storytelling, and collective intelligence may help us rediscover forms of wisdom modern systems have left behind.
