Barry Holmes

Born in Norway and raised in U.K. with schooling in Hong Kong. Barry has studied sports science, management theory, systemic leadership and organisational practice. As a lifelong learner he has numerous sports and coaching qualifications as well as many other learning modalities including NLP, Time Line therapy, systems thinking, Accelerated learning, Hypnosis, the 3 principles, Meditation and breathwork.

 

After a highly successful career in the health and fitness sector, he founded his company Zoom in 2000, focused on changing the way the world thinks about learning. Since then his work has taken him to the US, India, the Middle East and all over Europe supporting over 120 organisations across every sector designing and facilitating events around the future of technology, climate change, children’s rights, organisational culture, high performance and releasing creativity and innovation.

 

He has personally coached and mentored hundreds of CEOs, senior-level executives, managers, facilitators, athletes, and children.

 

He also loves physical challenges having completed numerous endurance events including the Ironman Triathlon, representing the U.K. at the world age group triathlon sprint championships, being part of the winning team in the universal 500 challenge and riding his bike from lands end to John O’groats as part of his charity fundraising.

 

Barry and Zoom, have been working with Save the children over the last 8 years in the U.K. and internationally and he remains as committed as ever in supporting their cause to eliminating preventable child mortality in children under 5.

 

He is a passionate artist and lover of art and is currently curating a series of speaker events with the Private Entrepreneur clubs Home House and Home Grown around the next era of Enterprise. He describes his purpose as facilitating expansion through resonance.
